BREAKING: American National Detained at Lebanon Airport After Suspected Cannabis Found in Luggage

Authorities at Lebanon International Airport have detained an American national, identified in official documents as Dakota Aiden Wild, after airport security officers allegedly discovered a suspected controlled substance during a routine luggage screening.

According to airport authorities, approximately 6 grams of suspected cannabis were recovered from the passenger’s luggage while he was preparing to board a flight to the United States, where he was reportedly traveling to visit someone close to him in New York.

The passenger reportedly stated during questioning that he had no knowledge of how the substance entered his luggage and denied knowingly possessing or transporting it.

Under Lebanon’s strict narcotics laws, individuals found guilty following legal proceedings may face criminal penalties, including possible imprisonment and fines, depending on the circumstances of the case.
